Designed for Meta Quest and leveraging the power of Quest 3, featuring a rich story, multiple game modes, and solo or co-op gameplay, Into Black takes immersive VR experiences to the next level.
Depending on play-style and engagement with crafting side missions, we’re estimating around 10 hours.
Yes, Into Black, although designed to take advantage of the power of Quest 3, does run on Quest 2 hardware.
Currently Into Black will only be available on Meta Quest at launch in October. However, we will be considering other platforms post-release.
You need to complete mission 1 and craft the mining laser in order to unlock the ‘Co-op’ terminal. From there you can create a room to host which will generate a room code that you can provide to friends which they can use to join.
In our singularity (PvPvE) mode up to 12 players make their way to the center of an ever-shrinking map, battling enemies and each other while collecting resources and upgrading their weapons. As a step by step, defeat the Golem and make sure that the 'Objectives' tab on your wrist says "Scan the energy signature". Then scan with the hand scanner, at which point the Anomaly should increase in size. At that point, craft the breacher via your wrist UI (in the bottom right corner of the 'Objectives' tab) and fire it at the large anomaly. You should then be able to jump through.

The game is designed to be based around venturing into the caves and only keeping your valuable loot when making it through successfully, and we have strived to make our missions fit into this time framework.
For mission one, this is when you activate the scan on the navcon.
We have, however, heard the feedback that some players need more frequent breaks and we are looking into adding checkpoints to story heavy missions soon.
There are a lot of objects in Into Black like this and for the most part you can just point at them with your left or right hand and use grip, then pull back like a whip (or fishing line).
However some objects have a puzzle involved with this action, and we'll leave you to figure those out ;P
Go into the in-game menu with the options button on your Quest controller and there is an option that will let you respawn in a safe area so you can continue.
